Hedgehog & Cranesbill Jotter Pad

The Hedgehog & Cranesbill lined jotterpads are made of 50 pages of recycled paper, backed with board, and are chlorine-free (design on every page). You may see small flecks in the paper grain, giving them a rustic feel. 21 x 9.7cms.

Hedgehogs thrive on a diet rich in invertebrates, particularly the caterpillars found in leaf litter and low-growing plants. The Brown Argus butterfly featured in the painting favours chalk grasslands and open woodlands, laying its eggs on Dove’s-foot Crane’s-bill for the emerging caterpillars to feed.

We can support hedgehogs by welcoming more wildlife into our gardens. Simply allowing lawns to grow a little longer encourages native wildflowers like White Clover, Black Medic (also in the painting), Dandelion, Speedwell, and Madder. These blooms attract pollinators and a wide range of invertebrates.
