The large bear Edward was my father’s bear. He now ‘clunks’ instead of growls, has a rather stately air and doesn’t suffer fools. His favourite spot is on a chest of drawers where he keeps an eye on things. Bertie (the youngster) and my son’s bear, has an unruly sense of humour and keeps Edward on his toes..
